2023 Camp Wingra Bios

Summer Jarosky
Camp Wingra Director
I grew up on Lake Wingra, jumping off paddle boats and learning to paddle board on a windsurf board. I got my first job at Wingra Boats at 14 and then later helped found Camp Wingra before leaving to join the Peace Corps. In 2015, I moved back to Madison after coordinating REI's Outdoor Programs on the East Coast, because Lake Wingra (and Wingra Boats) has always been home. I managed Wingra Boats for 4 years before taking on the Camp Director role in 2020. I have three little boys, Justice (7), Caspian (5), and Sonny (2), and you can usually find me outdoors biking, paddling, hiking, or fishing with my boys. I am so grateful that I get to spend the entire summer connecting kids to the outdoors & Madison's lakes.

Linda Vincent
Camp Wingra Assistant Coordinator (Marshall)
This is my first summer with Camp Wingra.
I am a single mom to two awesome boys, and we are new to Madison. I would spend all day outside if I could, especially hiking and piddling in my garden. I have a passion for all the wild things and environmental stewardship.
